Ha ha, that is a good one. This ain't ice hockey. Field hockey are played by both genders. The #4 player stood there not doing much because his team-mate was taking a "free ball", just like "free kick" or "free throw". Surely the ball ain't gonna hit me, I won't risk myself for that. Just admire the guts of the opposite player who stood in-front, without any protection. Enjoy...

I don't play hockey, or even watch it for that matter, but what's with the " hockey is a girl sports" thing?
There are far more "girly" sports around than hockey.

But I guess if you aren't phyically beating the opposition up with something like they do in ice hockey, it suddenly becomes a girls game? It's the SAME game, just without the violence....or the ice...or the skates

I think the 'Girls Game' comments come from the fact that guys do not generally play field hockey in the States. Girls do play it.
