If you open current issue you should see issue 1 on the right side in a tab.

Excellent magazine with great articles. The pet photography article hit home since that is one of my first loves. Excellent article with very good information and techniques. I've subscribed. Keep up the good work and kudos for everyone involved.

wow....I am impressed!! I sub'd. It is simple, the layout and text size is GREAT, it does NOT involve me installing some obnoxiously intrusive program to view the mag. and the content is very good for my level of inexperience. THANKS for the hard work and posting here!!

BTW, you might consider taking a shot over at Amazon on Kindle subs...I know some authors who have self published but they were not happy with some Amazon policies so you would want to look into that, but while the images could be awful on the K1, they won't be any worse than horrid on the K2 and it's shades of grey. But it is a place to establish an alternative following. Maybe...

I also noticed you have the mag for download in PDF format...you can also go here:

http://www.mobileread.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=26 (external link)

It is a forum dedicated to ebooks and ebook reading devices. Mind they are all still mono-chrome, well the eink readers are, but still there may be a few readers there who would also enjoy a photgraphy mag on their reading device. The Sony can read PDF (as can a number of other reding devices) butt he Kindle can NOT currently read PDF formats, though a person can email themselves a copy for conversion. I am going to send a copy to my K1 and see what happens. Problem is, mine is in Seattle right now and I am at home in California. So my better half will need to tell me how it looks. I expect the images will be crappy, not your fault not can ya fix it, but the content is all I care about.

I am looking at the PDF version on my Nokia N800 Internet Tablet right now and it's fine as any other PDF on the thing...

If anyone has any experiences using Kindle I have not heard of this one but know the Sony versions. I find this new technology just incredible!

I might have to buy one....

go visit http://www.mobileread.com (external link) they live to discuss all aspects of ebooks and reading devices. In fact they elevated it to the level of porn for book sluts. ;) Seriously it's the best spot online to learn about ebooks and the devices used to read them.

BTW, e-ink while nice, it not w/o some significant short comings. You'll see what I mean over there.

Amazon only sells them in the states.
I asked Amazon Canada if they plan on selling them but no luck.

They gave me some generic message about how its only sold on the .com (us) site. Guh we get so screwed up north. At least our camera equipment is cheaper :)

Hey everyone just wanted to update POTN that I have completely merged the community site with the magazines front page. Everything is now all together including the special offers page, contest page and even a built in reader for the magazine.

I need to still link downloadable pdf's but working on July's issue right now so I will try and get to it as soon as possible.

What happened to the last site? Was it a server problem or something? Glad you are getting back on track! I'd love to contribute...if I can think up a few topics I'll have a go at writing something!

Yeah there were some server problems and we were not happy with the sites structure and design.
So we decided to rebuild everything and at that point we decided to change the name to something less confusing.

Free Photo Mag = no more confusion if its free or not ;)
