Good stuff... and I have this almost exact shot from ground level.





Did you start on top of the suites in tower terrace and then move into turn one as the race went on?

Most of my time Sunday was spent at track level, behind the big southwest open area left by the reconstruction of the infield road course. I had track level seats right behind Marco Andretti's pit, and slipped down to the approach to turn one for the panning shots of Sharp and Servia.

I have a question. Did you shoot 1 and 2 at ISO 1600? The EXIF had that listed. Just curious why you shot that high.

Pushed the wrong button at a busy time. Didn't seem to make much of a difference.

Like I've never done that before

That's why I like the 40D I just picked up. It shows up in the viewfinder.
