Nice work Brad -- every time I visit Silver Lake it is jammed with people!

Thanks!
Try foggy Thursday nights. Seemed to work out ok for me! :)
These were actually shot during a brief break in the fog (see my last post in the lighthouse thread)

I live right around the corner from Silver Lake (just a ways outside of Mears). Never seen the Silver lake area looking so good. You did an outstanding job of representing this area. Major kudos!

#3 is really nice. Very peaceful.

- I discovered I scream the same way whether I'm about to be devoured by a great white shark or if a piece of seaweed touches my foot.

My PP isn't really anything special. I had shot several different exposures. Took the sky/lake from 1 exposure and pasted it into the sand from another exposure. Warmed them up a little bit, added some contrast, saturated a little bit, sharpened, done.

Man, the last two would benefit tremendously from a GND filter. The composition is nice, but the blown out sections kill them.

Just my 2 cents....

2 & 3 are sweet, but I REALLY like 1 for some reason...just a cool shot. Nice set!
