ah, just a question guys. is the zoom ring of the tamron 17-50 hard to turn?
a friend of mine recently got this lens (but for the Nikon mount), and I tried the lens and turn the zoom ring but i had to exert a great deal of effort compared to turning the zoom ring of my Canon EF-S 55-250mm. was that normal? or was it a bad copy that my friend had? i'm also planning to get this wonderful lens along with the 60mm and i'm concerned with the 'zoom ring issue'. thanks |

Nice pics, barq. Did you use an ND filter on the last one? Great flare control, something the Canon 17-55 is often bashed for.
