I like the tip idea, if it can be turned on/off when a user gets comfortable.
I want to re-iterate I do not think you are doing a poor job at all!!! I actually do kinda like what you have done. I just like to give people feedback on things that are of interest to me. It can get to be nit-picking, but that is only because I want it to do well. I would not spend the time on something I dont care about or would never use. I have been intrigued by your project, and am just trying to do what I can to help out.

Fair enough. I've been toying with different ideas on how to document the features of the site properly but this has been pushed back as I add newer features. Adding the tips themselves isn't too challenging -- making sure that people can turn them off it what is tricky.
About the constructive criticism, be as harsh as you can! Nitpicking is welcomed -- I'm a bit of a nitpicker myself and so if you can spot any nits, so to speak, that have slipped past me please let me know. Your points have been very helpful and have caused some priority shuffling on upcoming tasks, so thanks again
