Default Eizo ColorEdge monitor is the best for photo editing?

Anyone used Eizo ColorEdge montior? It's good enough for image editing work?

EIZO monitors are basically made for color sensitive applications like photo and video editing. Whether of not you will see any improvement over a cheaper, calibrated display depends on how stringent you are with quality, and the type of work you do. If you do high contrast graphic art, probably not much different. If you have fifty shades of light gray and printing it to an ICC calibrated printer, maybe.

What are you currently using? I think if you wanted to get better performance (debatable) than the top Eizo's, you'd have to go to a graphics quality CRT.

I'm very happy with my NEC 24" Spectraview monitor. Does everything I need and easy to calibrate.
