Here's something a little different. Taken literally a year ago tomorrow, while in Germany. Shot with a Leica M8 and Zeiss 2,8/25 Biogon ZM. Handheld at 1/45s and around f/5.6 +/- while briskly walking a wooded trail. The view at 100% is ridiculous.

Here's a JPG crop version I shot the other night around the house hand held candid of my wife with 5D and 85 f/1.8 USM on camera 430ex fired unfiltered.

EXIF:
Camera: Canon EOS 5D
Exposure Time: 0.0125s (1/80)
Aperture: f/8.0
ISO: 100
Focal Length: 85mm (85mm in 35mm)
White Balance: auto
Exposure Mode: manual
Exposure Program: manual
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: flash fired, compulsory flash mode





This was my 24L hand held +flash.

EXIF:

Camera: Canon EOS 5D
Exposure Time: 0.0333s (1/30)
Aperture: f/6.3
ISO: 200
Focal Length: 24mm (24mm in 35mm)
Flash: flash fired, compulsory flash mode
Exposure Program: manual
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Exposure Mode: manual
White Balance: auto

i really wish people would learn to resize there pics (like the one poster above me)... Even on my 1920x1080 monitor you cant view that all

How could you tell if it was sharp if it is resized to a very small 4x6?

I'll put a small pic if you all prefer?

I don't feel worthy to post in here but oh well! I'm particularly fond of these two shots and think they are quite sharp. Both taken with the 85mm f/1.8.

I think this may be one of my sharpest:

Camera: Canon EOS 40D
Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
Aperture: f/2.8
Focal Length: 50 mm
Exposure: 0.00
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Bias: +2/3 EV
Flash: Off, Did not fire
