I would be up for a WHF meet. Went last January and don't know of any other place you can get so close to the cats.

I would definitely like to go to the WHF again. Adrian can confirm that the cats love me there!

We had wet fireworks that didn't launch very well yesterday.

In the New Year I will do some fact finding and get a better idea of numbers. The one Rob and I went to was organised by a mod on talkphotography, he organised about six events so I could eiher ask him if we could hijack/join in one of his days or if there is enough interest do one just for us. They had groups of twelve. Ieally if it were just us I think that would be better. Last year it cost £85 correct if I am wrong Rob

This is a link to photographersonsafari which also has some more info . Rich has used them a few times and we are using them for Donna Nook. I would not propose to use them as they cost £119 and I don't think any benefit is cost effective. If we can keep the price as low as possible it means more of us will be able to come.

It is on my list as well. Ian was talking about getting some low level jets in Wales which is quite close to gigrin if we did get something together to do both.

Yes I am, have now got fed up with them and signed up for a google mail account, put the settings into the computer and it is working fine. Haven't had a chance to try it with the main compter which has Vista as opposed to XP yet. The advantage is if I change my broadband provider I will keep the same e-mail address so I think this is the best solution.

Ah mine might have been one and the same, it made me laugh because they were sleeping the whole day, quite a few people left and then all three couldn't stop yawning which was perfect!!

Thanks for your offer but I have decided to go with google mail in case I change internet provider again and that way I keep my e-mail address as it is always a pain changing it. I have put the relevant settings in our XP machine and it is working fine. Hopefully I will not have any problems with the Vista one

I booked direct with the WHF through theie Wild enigma safari days. Apparently all the money rthen goes to them instead of only a percentage. Had a couple of the volunteers from the site take us round who were photographers which was good as the cats already new them.

I've just banged them a email directly to see if the have prices for next year and what the max number of photog's would be for the day.

I was just having a look at their site as well after Steve mentioned it. I see they are an extra £10 but the goups are a maximum of ten as opposed to 12. When Rob and I went they did a barbecue at the end which was nice. This was put on by WHF so if we do get this together we could see if that is available if people want it.
