Default 18-135 IS lens bundled with the 7D is crap!

Is it just me or this lens is indeed, rubbish. I find that my photos are soft even when I'm not zooming in. Now it could have been the haze that or fog (shot a sunrise) and looking at my pics in my computer and I couldn't convince myself that this lens is any good. Not all shots are like that though. I can't say that it's a user problem (camera shake, exposure settings, etc.) as I said it's soft not blurry. Blurry is something you'll throw away, this is usable but just soft. If you think you're lens suffers from Chromatic aberration, clearly you haven't had a lens like this ever. Damn, CA must have been invented just to describe this lens.
