Here we go!

XboxWeasel--Eh? Did you say tumble with him?--I knew someone was going to go there. I hope that wasn't your own nose. Anyway, smack dab on the subject, and very well composed. Reminds me of a Gumby episode. I can't say anymore, I'm freaked out...

John_B--Colorful Creosote--John, did you take this image on ET's home planet, or in ET's nose? Very alien-like, odd and freaky. I'm trying to grasp this image, but can't figure it out. Well done.

Lisa--Capacitors, transistors and Circuits (oh my)--I've been in that jungle many times, but never had that good of a view. You've displayed many different species in your tech-jungle, but I think I would have liked a different, possibly skewed or angled, composition. Nevertheless, well done.

Monty--The jungle within-my clippers --You know, there's a little brush that comes with those clippers... Nasty subject, great composition and detail...oh god the detail. Well done.

Big round of applause for great "Jungle Within" captures, you all went above and beyond the call of duty...some went too far...

With four enties this week, there will be no runner-up, only the grand poobah, which is....

XboxWeasel

Organic and curvy, spikey jungle-like macro growths and the tenacity to cram a camera into someones nose, way to go!

Xbox, Macro DSLR Speed Challenge #61 is now in your hands.

Thanks again for participating!

I was really hoping that wasn't a nose. Sorry, but ewww! Still, congrats on getting the shot, xbox!

Thanks for the critiques, Jason. FYI, this was my second choice to submit. Think it has enough angles for ya?

(P.S. I've gotten a good bit of use out of that dead system board. I thought it might come in handy for some macro shots from time to time.)

Congrats XboxWeasel. Definitely a wild and wooly image! To me, that looks like the inside of a dog's ear. I'm hoping I'm right....

OKay. It was an ear. Not mine. Belongs to my puppy. Talk about hard to compose. She would not lay still. For a while there I thought no one was going to enter. Glad to see more entries. Thanks for picking me. My first winning contest entry. WOOHOO.

Lavanut I like your shot of the circuit board.

Monty....I think you need to clean those. I hope you are not using them at this time. Unsanitary.

Congrats!

I had a hard time coming up with something, and then the lack of time ruined it.
