Has anyone tried using AI Servo with this lens? I'm thinking it might help negate any slight movement after focus lock has been achieved.

I use ai servo a lot with this lens, but that isn't going to help you based on your samples. You need to ma the lens to your body an at 1.2 it is challenging to to nail focus with moving targets.
