Default How are you guys configuring your G1X for landscape photography?

I haven't used a Canon camera in a long time and I know there are C1 and C2 functions. I will be shooting RAW and I want to be able to quickly cycle through the different focal lengths through the step zooming feature. I also want to be able to quickly toggle the AEB feature to turn on and to initiate it with the timer. Is this possible to do without constantly going through the main menu to activate it?

I never got around to figuring it out, but how do I set that for C1? I only shoot RAW and I'm thinking 2 second timer, AEB +2/0/-2, RAW for C1 and 2 second timer, AEB +1/0/-1, RAW for C2.

I cannot give specific instruction for the G1x, but I think I can give generic instructions that should work..

First: Get the manual and look up C1/C2. There it should show you how to program C1 and C2.

Second: Set up the camera to do what you want it to do.

Third: Follow manual instruction for saving the settings to C1/C2 as you desire.

Its one of the easiest things to do on the G1x. You just set up the way you want to work and use SAVE SETTING in the menu. It will then ask C1 or C2 just select the one you want. Works in P, Av,Tv and M modes.
