Some nice shots on the last few pages. Here are a couple from last Saturday when I took a ride to check out the Salmon shore fishing from Waukegan Harbor (they should be comming into the harbor soon).

A fine lens and tack-sharp focus are a wonderful combo. Thanks for the great images, Luckypenguin!

Golf Balls which can pick up comms over long distances, but waiting for the right weather for years but still having no luck. Taken around 100m lens setting.

Probably one more week left of Autumn here around Wales, this was just outside Llangollen on the way to a deep valley called Worlds End.

George, is your Autumn shot taken with a G1x original or a MkII, as it says MkII on your Flickr account and the picture seems to be the same?

Fastest,

This is taken with the mk11 version, I still use both as there is not much difference in image quality, the mk 11 is quicker to focus but doesn,t matter so much in landscapes.

Now that we have darker early evenings it was a shopping trip with the G1x providing some different viewpoints of the city of Liverpool.
On the Liverpool Steps shot I only realised later my shadow was in the picture.
Both shots held steady and supported on a post and a glass screen for 5 seconds approx.
