Default Harlequin (?) Ladybird and golden specks

A few environmental shots. I know I have a horrible hot spot. Something I hope to rectify within the coming weeks with a couple of new purchases.

Quite a heavy crop hence the softness although the full res image is much sharper. The downsize to 1024px seems to have harmed the image quite a lot. Odd.

..and something a little different. Just into golden hour and I spotted the midges doing their normal twirling about. The golden light of the sun illuminating them. I tried many times to get a sharp shot of them but it was proving very very difficult. I settled for this one but despite it's OOF appearance, I quite like it. Not so much macro but I did use the macro lens.

Love the ladybird shots and I wish I had thought about getting a shot of the midges.

Great work.
