@Luckypenguin, beautiful pics. I was just reding about two-thirds rule in the Challanges thread, which was very interesting. However this rule does not seem applied in your pics and yet they seem as nice. Are these actual images or cropped. If cropped, maybe you can crop keeping 2/3 rule in mind and post again, we can see what difference it makes to the perspective.

More pictures from my walk to work (from the Hoboken NJ train station to my office in the Newport section of Jersey City). But this time, I used the Macro Setting of the G1X, which works far better than I anticipated. The first one is cropped to 4x3 aspect ration at 100% resolution. I find the shots from this camera, at 1:1, are far more usable than from my 7D.

Early morning at the beach huts, seemed to have had a new paint job, desaturated a touch.
