Default Auburn Horse Park- Show Day- Hunters

This was an A Show I went to with my trainer. This was the Hunter Ring. I was not in this show, but my trainer was, and I was her groom. unfortunately, I did not get pictures of her jumping since she only wanted video.

You don't need to shoot at such a small aperture setting. F/4 - f/5.6 is usually plenty and this would allow you to reduce your ISO and still maintain enough shutter speed to eliminate the movement.

You might try to position yourself where the background is more pleasing than in the 2nd and 3rd shots, although I know that's not always possible. Good timing on the first 2 shots.
