I'm hoping to make one of these this summer. When you get those shots are you set in a position and then just snap as the car races by or are you moving with the car and snapping photos?

nice set great flame strange how the eye does not see this during daylight but the camera sees it .

Thanks for the comments. I need to post some more from the race, but have been out of town.
As far as the question on how I personally shoot. I pan along with the racers and try to snap the image when they are right in front of me. If you pick a spot and wait it would be very difficult to catch them IMO |
