What do you guys think of this one? This was taken last summer, I think with a really good lens I had borrowed from a friend... its the door of a lighthouse.

Honestly, if you hadn't said it was a door I wouldn't know from the image. IMO images need to tell a story all by themselves.

The POV is different - I would have liked more of the wall (say about 50 -50). If you got more of this (is it a crop?) then you might experiment a bit with the composition. Exposure and focus seem OK. You wouldn't need a special lens for this shot and a special lens does not make the shot...
