Default Lerae - In Studio (2nd Session)

we met again but it was quite a short session - tried to find a better angle for her face. converted to bw in acr. very "out of camera" shot
so if you think theres something to with retouching - be my guest

Roman, I dont think the angle really works. It makes her face look really wide and I think its the BW conversion that makes
the lighting look really flat. Flat lighting and bad angle makes her head look even wider. If you were after that wide look,
then it works great but imo its not flattering for her.
Just my honest opinion

vesa, thank you for honest input. she has narrow type of face and i was after making it to look wider with light and 200mm lens.

Roman, Love that 2nd one and love that long neck of hers. I would have lower her chin just abit more, added more hair line and put the camera position higher. Your conversion is also just alittle to hot for me. Very nice portrait though and I would enjoy having her come to visit my studio.

Best to ya, Ernst

I think these are both nice, but #2 is definitely the winner!

I think in #1 there is too much of her head cut off, particularly on the top and left side. #2 is better with the space right.

You could place the typography on #2 a little downwards, the type is now sticked to the bottom of the photograph.

Whelp, I guess I'm a simple man =)...but I like them both. The focus seems to be on the eyes...and that's what my eyes are drawn to.......Nice work

Roman, what I will say is that the 'emotion' captured in the two shots is one of a relaxed person. Not many models do I see, that are that way...so, nice accomplishment.

I like the 2nd one. Very classic portrait lighting. Wonderful capture.
