Pocketwizard MiniTT1 and FlexTT5 maybe, it has wireless ETTL functions and range...not the cheaper of the bunch though.

you mean the Sekonic L358? I don't think so. I think Sekonic only supports Pocket Wizard modules.

In short yes.. You can remove the transmitter from your camera's hotshoe and fire the flash manually while holding your flash meter near the subject..

If you do it as what Jurgen suggested, then yes you can. That's how I do it with my Cybersyncs.

There's also a PC port, so it supports pretty much anything if you have the right bit of cable.

In which case the "correct bit of wire" is a short PC cord with a hotshoe on the end and the wireless transmitter inserted in that shoe instead of the one on top of the camera.
