Awesome set!!! You handled the light very well! Great eye! Aside from the massive amounts of dust there, it would be a great fest. to shoot!

1,4,7,11,16 i love
16 i really like cause the pose and tattoos and the torches and rawness of the photo gives it almost like a post apocalypse style sense where anything goes and people get as wild as they want with no worry about anyone stopping them. I love love love burning man. I wanna go so badly one of these years. |

Excellent work. Post more if you like. It occurs to me that photos of this event could make a nice thread by itself.

how did you deal with dust on the sensor and what not? did you seal your camera with extra goods or was the 5d weather sealing enough? my buddy pretty much wrapped his camera in a ziplock bag and only used one lens the whole week and he still had stuff make its way to the sensor. I want to bring my camera this year(assuming I finagle a ticket lol) but i feel we were really blessed with no dust storms this past year and it prolly wont happen again.

I changed lenses maybe twice the entire week... I also had my 5D covered in gaff tape.. made it much easier to clean when i just had to pull off the tape. I didn't use a ziplock bag or anything.. No problems with sensor dust.. I was using weather sealed lenses as well. Bringing a camera is worth it to burning man.. If I get a ticket this year i'll probably just take 1 body with a 24-70 or 50mm prime. |
