I am offering web hosting service on the cheap for active POTN members who are interested in getting their own website setup. It's time to take your photography business to the next level. I don't have a fancy website nor can I promise you unlimited everything that some hosts advertise (but they don't really) but what I offer is EXACTLY like what the "big" hosts offer. I know because I used to work for one.

What differentiates me from those companies is that I can promise you is that I will always be reachable personally if you need help with anything regarding my service offering. I have been managing my own servers since 2004 and am not a hosting reseller so you'll always deal directly with me for everything from billing to "why isn't this working?!?! *hair rip*".

And here are the FAQs I got from the last time I offered this on POTN...

Q: Can I use Wordpress?
Yes, in fact, you can get wordpress installed very easily through your account's cPanel.

Q: Can I use SmugMug/Zenfolio/etc. with your service?
Most definitely. If you are using SmugMug/Zenfolio (or any other service to handle your gallery/printing management) and they allow you to use "custom domains" I can definitely help you get this setup so that you can have your-domain.com go to a blog/site while photos.your-domain.com (or whatever sub-domain you want to use) goes to your SmugMug/Zenfolio site.

Q: Can I create my own @domain.com email address?
Yes, you will be able to create your email accounts based on your domain name.

Q: Where can I get my site design?
Most of the POTN members that host with me get themes/templates from ThemeForest or use the ProPhoto theme. You can certainly design your own site or also hire your own web designer if you are looking to make your site totally unique. This is totally up to you.

Q: Do you offer a money-back guarantee?
If, for any reason, you want to cancel your account, I will give you a full refund for the hosting if you let me know within 14 days of the account being created.

Domain registration, on the other hand, is NOT refundable. Once the registration goes through, you will own the domain and the domain will exist for one year regardless of whether it is used or not and expire if not renewed a year from the registration date. This is a standard in domain registration.

Q: Do you offer bulk discounts?
If you are looking to host three or more sites, PM me for a discount.

Q: Wait, what's the catch? Why's it so cheap? Is this some referral scheme/scam?
Nope, this is a legitimate offer and there is no catch. I lease several servers out of a reliable carrier-neutral data center located in Atlanta and New Jersey. I run about a dozen or so different sites for myself and friends/family along with accounts I created for POTN members from my last hosting offer but still not even close to utilizing the box to full capacity. So I decided to offer some cheap accounts to POTN members while I reduce my own cost of operating this server. It's a win-win situation. No gimmicks.
