This is awesome! Jay lives not too far from me... we get together every so often. I remember him saying this was part of his new "gallery series".... and I remember on FB he was talking about getting a print ready for shipping. I didn't know it was for you! very cool!

Here's a question for you photogs out there. Has anyone gotten a sore elbow from toting the camera around & shooting? I actually think that's only part of what caused it, but the inside of my right elbow is really sore. I just wondered if the heavier camera & lens could have contributed to it. (Yeah I can hear Jason & Allen now raving about the Oly and Leica.)

On a lighter note, the spring edition of our Communique magazine came out today, and one of my Phantom shots made the cover. You can see it here if you'd like. I have a handful of other shots in that issue too. They also put together a slide show from Phantom from my photos and posted it as well. That's at this link if anyone's interested. It's always cool to see stuff I've done posted by the county.

P.S. If you check out the slideshow, they've been asked about making the images bigger, but they just rolled out a redesign of the website and site design tools, and folks are still getting used to the new way of publishing things.

I"ve never had a sore elbow... guess I need to shoot more! lol.. Sorry you are having problems.. pop a lil' ibuprofen? Maybe wear one of those little braces when you are going to be shooting for a long period of time?

So exciting aboutyoru photos in the magazine and slideshow! WOO HOO! Congrats!

Hey Joby... Loved that little shot of the bike... super cool! You seem to be having tons of fun with your new "tent" thingy. :P

Nice street journal as always Allen.. love seeing what your eye sees through the lens.. interesting subjects, and really great compositions.

I got some potted tulips for Mother's Day... So I took them outside a couple days ago and snapped a few images just for fun... This was my favorite of the bunch.



We took the girls out boating, and a friend brought along her "tube". We keep wanting to buy one..... I think it's time. They had a blast.. I got a chance to practice my "action" skills... Lol... Shooting on a moving boat that is bumping and bouncing and trying to keep a moving subject in focus... a little challenging.. but I got a few keepers! haha
