Look closely at the talons and you'll see a piece of chicken.
This is a juvenile the adults are having difficulty driving away.

Sorry for lack of comments folks - I have been going through some of my files from a recent airshow, talking of which - here is a Kite that was enjoying him/her self at the said show.

I took it at one of the camping sites near to RIAT airshow, this Kite was just flying over us in the countryside, without a care in the world.

I envy you that photo! Nice one! I'm no expert on these, but, for what it's worth, I think your bird is a Parasitic Jaeger. It doesn't look deep chested enough for a Pomerine and darker birds like this one typically show two white underwing flashes, a big one and a smaller one.

Thank you my friend, I was very lucky and very privaledged to be so close to another amazing raptor, I never thought I would get so close to a Kite - let alone near to a massive airshow.

Quite a funny tale to it - I was in a field camping for the day about half a mile away from an airshow in the uk called RIAT, there was a bit of a lull as the weather was less than great low cloud and periods of drizzle, when I saw this Kite over some trees - he/she was slowly flying closer and closer till about a few hundread feet away, I had my 300 on my body as always I said to a friend I was following a kite, he remarked that he could not see any kites (kids flying toys), I just nodded and carried on getting some amazing shots.
Thank you Kite.

P.
