Ed,
Spectacular picture! Can you add your gear to your profile? I am interested to see what lenses you used on your trip :)

Canon 5D4 plus 300 2.8 ii. And guide's 5 flash setup at low power with remote trigger. Yong nuo I believe. I have a similar 2 flash setup now.

I brought my 100-400 but it dropped and broke on the second day so I didn't get much use out of it on that trip. I have it back now repaired by the way.

Sometimes there are days when you get the shot(s) you missed many days, months or years before.

It would be very interesting to hear/read a travelogue with your recommendations and experiences from that area. Use of guides, accommodations, best areas, time of the year etc. etc. So far I have only been around in Europe and Scandinavia, but your photos inspires for a longer trip...! Please...;o))

Just a heads up for you who might be in the PA area. Snowy Owls are being seen in Southern Lycoming Co, near Elimsport along RT 44.
There was a beautiful close up on the front page of the local paper.

Lovely shots! Second is best for me... but the first would have taken it if you lucked out with a better background. Great work.

Yes. Love it. But then, I only know the Sony Alpha system since I went digital in 2007 with the A700. Given my glass I have accumulated over the years the A99ii was my only real choice. (And A77ii which I recently picked up again)

Thanks for commenting. :)
