Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus) defending its nesting-area against large gull´s (Great Black-backed Gull (Larus marinus)..., I think...!)

Sure. Taken from a blind on land (swampy) next to a small pond. This is the third time there for me in the last year. The kingfishers come and go, it is not always the same bird, last one was a female, this is a male.

Canon 5D Mk IV
Canon 300mm f2.8L ii
Canon 2.0X TC
Tripod and gimbal (needed for 5 hours in a blind!!!)
1/2000 sec
f6.3
ISO 640

Should use higher ISO and shutter speed, will next time. Depends on time of morning bird shows up, and light conditions when things are happening.

EDIT: It took 5 hours in this blind to get these action pix.....

Well worth the effort Ed, just an awesome awesome grab......5 hours, well as long as I have mosquito repellent :)
Now don't take this the wrong way, the hummer is outstanding, a dream shot for many, but I'd rather have a simple perched Scrub J.
