Sure is. Just make sure you dont get a logo where it will be hidden by your camera bag straps etc.
Also wont cost much to get it done. |

I don't. I figure the guests can ask for my business card if they like me. I like to dress professional for the weddings and having the logos on my clothes is a bit too much IMHO.

I disagree. Wearing nice black dress pants with a button down dress shirt or collared polo shirt with or without a small logo seems like a very professional uniform to me. I wouldn't put my full business name on it, but I'd put my logo over the polo player or the tiger or whatever happens to be on the polo shirt I usually wear.

We do it. I don't know how much "advertising" or brand recognition it gets us, but I simply like the idea that it clearly identifies us as the photographers and gives us a consistent appearance.

I wouldn't, because I like to wear a somewhat stylish top. I usually pick a top that matches my overall brand color scheme, and I have a custom camera strap with my logo from HighKey. I think the logo on shirt idea works better for men.

Well, I always wear a red tie (thus red tie photography) and when I hand out my card, people seem to get it pretty quickly. I do not have any words posted, but it is still a way to brand myself.

And this is what it's all about; establishing your brand. Develop an identity that's consistent from your business cards to your website, and even through to your appearance. Just ask the head of marketing for companies like Coke, McDonalds, or Apple; they know all to well the power of branding. Just because you're a small independent photographer who maybe even only does this on the side doesn't mean you shouldn't do it, too.

Plus not every single guest is going to come up to you and ask for a business card. They might get a glimse of the logo or name on the shirt and remember it. Who knows maybe they might take a few photos on the day and you just happen to be in the middle of it all with your logo showing
