I just got a new computer that can handle the Pixel Bender plugin and thought I would post a couple. What do you think?

Very Nice! #1 is particularly mesmerizing...

My brain keeps going back and forth between Real and Rendered.

Way cool. It's like oil painting.

Very nice, indeed! Looks a lot like Fractalicus, especially that first one, but Fractalicus has a tendency to get way to severe. The effects here are much milder and very pleasing to the eye.

Very well stated. I didn't know just how to say what I felt when looking at the first image.

Thanks, I was not sure how far to take the effect.

I think Pixel Bender does a really good job of defining edges.
Thanks all for your comments.

Not sure I have the SOC images, but here are a couple before the Pixel Bender effect. Please note that the b/w and color adjustments on the original posted images were done with Photoshop and not a result of Pixel Bender plugin.

I got that plug-in a long time ago and have yet to give it a real trial.. From the looks of things I am going to have to give it a workout here real soon. Great work, I really like the first one, the colors are awesome.
The last two just above my post are really cool also.

There are all kind of great plug-ins for Photoshop that can be very useful. You can find Pixel Bender at Adobe Labs.
