Default Hoover Dam from the new bridge at dusk

Not as sharp as I would prefer but this was handheld on the vibration happy bypass bridge at dusk. Guess I should not be too hard on myself.

You know what is really interesting here to me, is how much down the waterline is. Very nice shot.

Neat shot. It's the first I've seen from there, probably the first of many.

Those are actually cables, and part of the Dam's South side. I believe they were used for fetching things across without going all the way around.

Nice shot! I watched them build that bridge and really worried about the first time I'd have to drive across it. High doesn't even begin to describe it. Thank goodness they did the side walls well so you don't know just how high you are while driving across it! I'm not sure I could stand on it and take that picture!

Great view. Been dying to see this view since the bridge is completed. I'd love to get back here as I haven't been since I was a kid.

Great shot. I too was there a few times over the past few years watching that bridge in various stages of construction.

Did you stop your car? Is there a pedestrian walkway across it?

Any pics of the bridge?
