That's an awesome shot Mike.
Is that a bridge over the top of the falls? I bet the view from there is amazing too - in a different way. Being close to such a powerful force as that waterfall must be incredible. Thanks for sharing.

That is just beautiful! The lighting is perfect. Its so hard to get waterfalls to look nice without blowing out the highlights (at least it is for me!) Very impressive!

Mark, yes that is a bridge over the falls. Here's a picture from the bridge looking over the falls: Nevada Falls Bridge.
Don, I thought it was taken at 300mm, but it was at 100mm and cropped. Surprised me since the crop was the lower 1/4 of the picture. Thanks everybody for looking and commenting!

It's amazing. If you look at how much water there is at the bottom it's a wonder that much water can come out of that small gap at the top. Nice pic.

That's quite an impressive waterfalll and you've managed to capture it in all its grandiose beauty.

Nice shot, Mike - I am definitely returning to Yosemite in the spring to catch the waterfalls in full force. I didn't get a shot from Glacier point, but did hike up the John Muir trail to Nevada Falls last month and got a couple nice shots (same morning as my Vernal Falls shots from earlier). Looking back I probably should've continued up the Mist Trail to Nevada Falls, rather than taking the John Muir up, as going down the Mist Falls for that first 1/2 mile by Nevada Falls is murder on the knees!

Great shot! I love Yosemite. We now go in the winter so it is hard to ever get up to Nevada Falls.
