If you can wait, you should consider Canon powershot Elph 500.

It has an ultra wide angle lens (24mm), 1080p full HD video with auto focus, 12.1MP, 3.2" screen and to top it off....f/2 lens for $299. (that's the pre order price)

They increased the resolution to 12mp on a 1/2.3" sensor and dropped the aperture at 105mm to f5.8 to make room for the 24mm end. It's still no S95.

We all know that but at the price point, it's pretty darn close...I think.

F/2 lens

The S-95 is still the leader in its class. Not until you step up to 4/3 can you increase image quality.

I think you need to step up to m4/3 and a good lens, too. Just the slow f4-5.6 kit lens is not going to beat the S95 by much at all.
