I'm starting this thread for owners of the Canon T3i so they can post examples of their work to compare with others. If you can include all settings you used in your photo and time of day and weather conditions if would like to. And any other info your willing to share.

Since it's so new, it'll probably be a while before we see more T3i users...but, I could be wrong! :) But, why would you start a topic without posting some example of your own? ;)

Adobe Camera RAW has not even been updated to support T3i raw files :)
I tried one out at my local photo store to see if I could be happy downgrading from a 5dm2...but I'll have to wait...

Camera raw 6.4 is available which supports the t3i, it is/was still in release candidate status so you have to hunt for it a little. Alternatively when I bought photoshop it came with 6.4.

i'm an absolute noob – been soakin in all the great info on this forum (thanks all) for the last 3 weeks since i bought my new t3i. before that, my primary camera was my camera phone. so with that being said, i have no shame in being the first to post an image on this thread. the skies here have been gray everyday and the snow even grayer, so here is my first long exposure at night in the fog.

Please forgive me for not posting any photos of my own since I started the thread. I have been working nights and haven't had any time on my pc to upload anything, and yes the T3i is available purchase. I will have some of my own pictures up very soon. Let's keep this thread going, thank you everyone.

Hey bees! Cool photo you got there. I'm basically in the same position you are, going from a point and shoot as primary camera to a DSLR. And I've been surfing the forums here trying to learn as much as possible and this seems like a great source of info. I'm curious, what dial setting did you have your camera on for this photo? Is the red streak running down the road a car's brake light?
