Default 2011 Malaysian F1 GP

This was my first GP experience and my first time shooting motorsports, wouldn't you know I had a few keepers. Will be back for 3rd practice and qualifying tomorrow...

Your exif still does not state the lens, focal length or settings. I was only curious.

Look forward to the possible rain shots that you may get tomorrow/sunday

@ Harm: If you click on any of the flickr photos and then the link beside it where it says it was shot on a "Canon 7D" you'll get the page with full EXIF data and the info you were seeking.

By the way ckkone great shots! Are you just in the stands? Or can you get around the track and other positions on practice days?

Thanks everyone...I was just in the stands, Friday is a free day so you can roam around where ever you want. These were all shot from front and back straight grandstands. Today I plan to shoot around the 1st few corners.

All shot with 7D, 70-200 2.8 IS mkII, 2x mkII Extender, Auto ISO, Shutter priority from 1/250 to 1/125, cloudy white balance, AI Servo, Evaluative metering

I know this is a one in a billion shot to ask for, but did anyone capture the car flying in mid air?

I haven't see a photo of that yet. Several screen grabs from video of course but not a proper photo.
