I got asked to take the photos for 3 little leage teams. If i choose to do it is there any thing that i should have, any problems that i might have, and how to fix them.

Team photos, or game photos?
For game photos, you will probably want a better lens than the 75-300. I've had pretty good sucess with the 300/4L IS which can be found used for around $950-1000, and the non-IS version can be had for around $750-800.
