Hi, would anyone care to share experiences using G-Drives - good or bad? I'm just looking for a bit of extra working space for live jobs prior to archiving to Drobo. Thanks, Craig

Agreed. We have several in use throughout our company. Great mobile and RAID options.

I have one, a 500 GB G-Drive. I bought it 3 years ago from B&H, and it's worked flawlessly with my iMacs. Highly recommended.

I'm using a G-Drive Mini 500GB as my portable image storage (backed up daily to 2 LaCie desktop drives). No issues at all. Good stuff!

I have a 320gb and 1tb daisy chained to my imac 21.5 linked by firewire 800. One has my aperture library on and my time machine. The other contains my vault back up for aperture.
I have 130gb of photos (around 25,000) and would not choose any other make! Outstanding performance, quiet and look the part next to my imac. Can't recommend highly enough |
