After fighting through and attempting to understand your 6-line, single sentence (why?), I have to agree with Phil. There is no reason for the book to instruct you to return it unless it was not meant to get out. They did however, offer a reward, so you'll at least get something from them. Try calling again.

After spending only a few minutes searching the internet, this Loren Holt may be a hair and makeup artist who works with Kim Dawson:

http://www.kimdawsonagency.com/models/makeup/all/494

The book you have is a portfolio of her with the agency. Many of the pages you posted look like they were just torn out of magazines, so they probably aren't worth much to anyone other than those directly involved in creating them or those looking to hire the makeup artist.

Try contacting the agency again (http://www.kimdawsonagency.com/models_contact_us) and see if they get back to you. If they don't within a week or so, then do whatever you want with it. I still don't think you'll get much/any money for it.

Perhaps your imperfect english is to blame for them not taking you seriously? I would suggest that you find a friend who speaks perfect English to call them and explain this to them.

I'm quite sure they'd respond if they understood. After all, this is worth far more to them than anyone else. I can't imagine this would be worth much to anyone not involved... Wish you the best!

You should do the right thing. Return the book with a note. You cannot possibly be that hard up to try to sell these images on Ebay (when they would probably not sell anyway). It obviously is important to someone else which is why they placed the note inside. Take the high road and return it. Be the Good Guy with a clear conscience. What if it was your property?
