Default Birthday Boy - 2nd Birthday 'candid'

Just a shot I got at a Birthday party that I just loved, shooting wide at 2.8 and managed to nail the focus on the eyes and the bokeh was beautiful. Wish I could get every shot this good! Makes me wonder how much I would really love a 85mm 1.2 Wishful thinking I know.

Its sort of a candid shot, so haven't retouched the face. Left the lad a bid messy since he was happy enough running around at his party.

Would like an opinion on black & white conversion and colour - which one is preferred if you can take a second to comment.

1. Colour

2. Lightroom Black and White

3. Photoshop Black and White - higher contrast

Thanks for looking.
Karl.

COLOR! love those eyes, great expression too.... now if I where to choose a b&w version it would be the 1st with a little contrast added...

Thanks for the feedback folks!
Markd120 - He does look a little bit guilty in retrospect, but wasn't up to any mischief.....for a change!
