There was no professional photographer this year to take pictures for our soccer club... so I offered to take a quick snapshot of my son's team.
It's not that great of a picture and well, bright overhead sun with that NEON GREEN jerseys made it difficult. I think it's okay... worth printing out for the team members so we at least have a team picture for this season. ![]() Critique it but be nice... was trying to get it done real quick before the kids got all sweaty LOL

almost a great shot but some pretty harsh head shadows going on the middle kid and the guy in white on the right. I'd try some PP to help take care of that and adjust the guy in white shirt to look more white and not have that green tint.

thanks! the kid/coach that had harsh head shadows were turned directly towards me whereas the others were at a very slight angle (we were trying to keep the porta-potty out of the picture LOL!)
I'll have to fuss around with the green tint on the white shirt guy - his skin really reflected those green jerseys bad (he's got an olive/darkish complexion).

As you said, not what I would call professional quality, but certainly good enough to remember the team and the fun the kids had together.
You might have moved over by the school/building in the background and shot against one of the shady brick walls for more even lighting. As is, I would probably brighten the shadows a bit more so you can see the faces. Yes some of the jerseys might blow out, but the faces are the critical part of a portrait IMHO.

If I send someone the original RAW image would you like to have a play with this image? I'm not very good at PPing and would like to get an idea what you can do with it.
the only programs I have for editing are the DPP, Gimp and Picasa
