Rigged something up outside as I dont have good articial lighting yet. I think they turned out well.
I dont mind critiques. ![]() This one I wonder on the crop... ![]() I think I like this exposure, although I know its not technically correct. I see that eye is not in focus, shame on me. ![]() |

Very nice.
Any idea where do I find these kinds of props?

The colors are really popping in this set! Nice light in the eyes too.

Nice set and the outdoor lighting worked well! Have you considered a crop on #2 so that it is similar to #1? I might just but the baby a tad more to the right.

When I say rigged, I mean I really rigged it lol. I hung brown drapes on a clothes line tied between two trees. The green drop is a sheet. The fur rug I got at walmart, however I found a better quality sheepskin rug at ikea. I put all of that on top of pillows to prop her up then on a card table to get at eye level easier. All in all I spent 20 dollars on the set up for the rug I had everything else at home.

They all seem soft... I don't mind the exposure in #1, but the angle and composition isn't appealing. I do like the colors. For me, #1 has the best composition although, again, something is off because they are all out of focus a bit.

I had it at 4.5 somewhere along those lines, what would you have done differently?

Now that Adam mentions it, the eyes to seem soft in all of them. If you're focusing and recomposing, that could explain the slightly OOF images when working up close and shallow. If you're using the proper AF point, then perhaps you might want to check for front focusing. There's definitely sharp areas on the flower in all 3 photos which is closer to the camera than the baby's eyes.
