I’ve been going to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge for awhile, a lot of fishing in the 90’s but lately a lot of photography. I’ll post pictures here throughout the year.

In addition, I will be adding pictures from Barr Lake State Park that is very close to the RMA.

SShhhhhhhhhh!

Some places are worth keeping secret!

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "peace of mind", NOT "piece of mind".

Took a 3.5 mi hike today at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal, not a whole lot going on today. Here are a few shots of the Arsenal, gives you an idea of what the refuge looks like.

Like 'em all. The AYES have it.

Have plenty of Canons, enough ammo, enough to blow 'em to "L". Now, I just have to learn to aim.

Nice photos and a beautiful place. Amazing to think how contaminated that place was not that long ago.

I am a couple blocks from the arsenal and frequent Barr Lake enough I actually bought a lifetime pass for the state parks for the family :)

I often shoot landscapes but with the amount of birds around Barr Lake perhaps I should load up the 300mm + 1.4x extender
