Shot my kid's soccer game last night. This kid's hair simply fascinates me. Any cc you can give me on becoming better at shooting soccer would be greatly appreciated.

Great shots. You've got the focus thing down on the 7D. So many times, people get the closer objects (kids) to the lens in focus and actually miss focus on what you think you've focused on.

#1 and 2 are great because the kids and action is isolated. #3 has BG interference which is to be expected at kids' soccer games.

As far as processing the shots, they appear a tad underexposed although it could just be my monitor. For spots shots, lightening shadows a bit helps, dropping the red channel a tad would help and for goodness sakes don't be afraid to sharpen the heck out of the shots!

Thanks! I cloned out the BG stuff on the first two but the third one had so much that I was afraid to mess with it. As far as sharpening goes, I do feel like I push it but when it transitions through flickr it seems to lose a little.
