Default Shot ideas for a wedding planner?

A friend of mine is venturing into the event (primarily wedding) planning business, and for practice, I am going to take some shots for her. She had an idea in her head for a few over the weekend, but since she was in the bridal party, and my fiancee was in the bridal party, it was way too busy to get much of anything done. Not to mention I only brought the kit lens with me, no tripod, etc

Resources are limited, some continuous lighting, not much in the way of flash, kit lens plus the 50mm 1.8.

I was thinking I could get some shots of:
* centerpieces
* seating card table
* fine dining
* chandelier
* archways with floral decorations
* flowers

Any ideas for other kinds of shots I could take that don't involve an event? We may be able to get some friends in a tux/cocktail dress, but I'm not 100% on that. Thanks!

Almost anything SHE produced or was directly a result of her work. You're not just giving her generic shots from someone else's work, are you? That's the way I read it. You might want to clarify.

How in the hell do you read it like that?

Of course she's setting up the pieces themselves, these are ideas for pictures. Where do these kinds of assumptions come from?

Jmg, please try to choose your words more carefully. Swearing has to be against some rule or another.

There is no rule against swearing, and I doubt the overwhelming majority would consider "hell" a swear word.

What is going on in these forums lately? I'm asking for ideas for pictures to take ffs.

And amonline, if this wasn't blatantly obvious, she will be doing the setup on the shot ideas, primarily using the decorations from the wedding this past weekend that she had planned.

What's with the attitude? I told you how it reads. I asked a question. Relax a little. Take my advice. Don't take my advice. I don't give a crap.

Here's what I read...

I can't tell if this already happened or if this is an upcoming wedding. You never stated she actually is DOING any of the above. All I was saying is; don't take these images for her if she is NOT doing any of it. That would be someone else's work - not hers. Where's the problem?!?

You made accusatory assumptions that I would, in effect, steal someone's work. I find that incredibly offensive. If I accused you of stealing someone elses work, would you be offended?

I'm a little surprised you couldn't follow. There was a wedding this past weekend, which we couldn't take much in the way of worthwhile shots. We're going to take more. I'm looking for ideas. This is why some is in the past tense, and the rest isn't.

Oh dear God. I never accused anyone of anything; it's why I ASKED. I'm sorry that you do not know how to ask a question clearly. Yea, go ahead and shoot the tux/dress. I'm assuming she created it.

You're right, that was very obvious from the bold text. I'm sorry you didn't realize the question was hidden in the sentence with a question mark at the end.

Also obvious is how useful this thread will be now. Much appreciated.

I support this line of thinking.

This thread is now about cheeseburgers.

According to my bold pointing out of your remarks, I think the message is clear. I am accusing you of stealing other's cheeseburgers.
