Spent the day at Pukekohe Raceway, taking a few shots of the drifting action. This was a big rush to get these edited, and shared for the D1NZ website, but I'll share these for now anyway. 1100 shots in total, with about 18 competitors, a few incidents, and lots of sliding.
All I can say, is my 400mm, certainly helps me to get into restricted areas. Entering... And controlling a very sideways angle.. Head to head. This cars boot blew open, after running over the rubble strips. Them spikes remind me of Ben Hur somehow... another great posting Wazza, there was a 30 sec clip on the tv1 sports news - presume their camera was just behind you?

Probably, Hehe.
I could see the TV3 crew up in the inside of chicane. I beleive they only came out, once they realised it was the largest event ever. Traffic was jammed, and it was on the radio. Now put together a page, to share with the D1 fans, http://wazz*****scity.com/d1 |

Nice stuff, as usual.
But those guys really do a make a mess of Puke, they have been banned from some of the other tracks around the country before for making to much of a mess of the infield. I hope they paid for you for any images. For the first season, when they were still getting everything sorted and set up they used a lot of free images taken by people who had just showen with a camera. When an organisatin dosn't have any money and needs some help getting started that might be acceptable, but they have grown beyond that now and should be paying for proffesional work. |

Nah, I was just shooting for myself. And posted on the D1 NZ forums. That site is busy. All their pics posted, get 2000 hits. They did make an absolute mess of the infield here too.
