Needed more practice with the 50D so I used hubby guitar as my model again! Tried playing with DOF with my new nifty fifty. Any tips for improvement would be great :)

Last one really shows off the guitar's top. Nice job. Like 'em all, really and I'm a strat guy!

Here is a shot of his '79 Antigua Strat that's he has had since the early 90's, and a few more of the trad.

I had 3 Les Pauls; 74' burgundy deluxe, '72 gold top deluxe, and '78 sunburst standard. This is a sweet machine and very nice images.

a REAL '69, eh? My 2 stage players are the Custom Shop '69 Heavy Relic models. Over the years, I've owned countless strats of nearly all models and vintage years, my earliest is a '65 which stays in it's case most of the time as it's not a real good 'player' guitar. The CS '69s are by far the best playing, sounding strats I've ever owned. Hands down.

Great shots of a beautiful LP. If you are the proud owner, congrats on a really fine looking guitar.

The strat is a '79. They are both my husbands guitars...I just shoot 'em!

That's a nice tidbit to remember. I have a home brew warmoth that is sweet.

Over the years I've owned just about every Fender model made from MX made (which were very good) to USA model, HSS models, MIJ with 'fotofinish' tops. Still have my '65 which I mentioned is old, very valuable because of its 8/10 condition, but it doesn't sound that great, doesn't play that well but IS all original!

From the Fenders, I went to Grosh Retro Classic (owned 2), Melancon (sp?) strats a couple of the relic knockoff brands and probably some others that I don't remember.

Bit the bullet and bought my first CS strat. Liked it so much I bought a body double of it just in another color. My two players are the Custom Shop '69 Heavy Relic strats. One is vintage white and the other Fiesta Red which we lovingly refer to as 'cream of tomato soup' color!

I can't get used to a Les Paul without pickguard. Here I'm with my old 70's and heavily modified standard onstage

Generally, you should let the light help you when you want to emphasize something in the image. For instance in this one, the focus is on the strings & yet the brightest part of the image is near the bottom & the OOF strings.
Not quite the same, but similarly, the light on #1 draws my eyes to the wood at the bottom which is fine if that's what you want people to look at first.
