Default Re: Truck Racing - Pembrey

There are not many places at most UK circuits where I would risk being behind the Armco for truck racing. You would certainly not catch me at Druids or even Clearways for that matter. The end of the Paddock gravel trap would be an ideal spot for my wife to see how quickly my life insurance pays out. I am surprised they are having them back.

Having seen how far a 360 Marinello can push a double layer tyre wall and Armco at OP (some 12 feet) I can't imagine JP letting them loose there.

when you think about it, 12 tons @ 80mph or so is going to take some stopping!

Great series Glenn!
I too would be concerned about the tarmac. I can just imagine these beasties pushing up ripples in the track in which one could lose a Mini at least.

Nice shots. I'll bet the diesel gets in your eyes fairly quickly. Just leave it on the tripod and shoot with the remote...

Excellent shots. Reminds me of my youth. My Day used to compete in semi Rodeos. Great fun. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely shots and a sunny Pembrey

Might just have to alter my plans and go to Brands just to see these monsters tearing up JP's grass

btw......#3 and #7 are worryingly close to being arty ( runs and hides)
