Default What do you guys think of wedding collages?

Do you guys like detail collages? If so these were a few I first tried to start doing for my weddings. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks in advance.

I like doing small collages. The widest i go is three photos wide, and I don't like to stack the rows on top of each other, i think it makes it look too busy. I think maybe if you did 4 images (2 on top, 2 below) it can work, but otherwise i think there are too many potos in a small space.

Nice concept but some of the images were distorted, probably to make them fit the overall size. This is distracting. I agree with Bryan. A smaller collage with fewer images may be more pleasing. Again, nice concept though.

I think there should be some consistency in the organization, and some storytelling done in the collage.

I dont Like it for wedding. I think they lack attention to the shots, all the efforts kind of disappear in the shot

I like collages when done well.

I agree with the others. There are some that look distorted. I see some good stuff in there as well. Maybe don't put that many photos in it, and just put the best photos that also tell a story, as someone put it.

I'm a big fan how this photographer (Kristen Weaver) presents wedding collages

http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...58.25748751163

They always represent the wedding colors and details really well without going overboard.

They're kind of a big deal in my neck of the woods. It's almost like you're not legit unless you post a wedding collage on your FB and blog. Kristin Weaver does do excellent work, because she sees the color scheme and works with it, but everyone else tends to look like a damn ugly quilt of photo regurgitation.

$0.02.
