Of the canine variety

I just became a member of this forum today, and I might as well start as I mean to continue--pretty much my main stars for photography are my dogs. I'm an extreme amateur photographer, I consider myself more of a dabbler, since I just learn as I go instead of reading the instruction manual my lovely camera came with, haha.

I shoot with a Canon Rebel XTi, my most favored lens being a 55-250mm. I hope to learn more on this forum, since I feel I haven't made any progress in the past several months, so any critiques, tips and hints are always welcome!

Oh, my name is Libby, and I would have preferred to use that as my user name but it was already taken--ah well!

Without further chatter from me, here are my pups.

Mexico, RezMutt, five years old.

Thank you!

That day at the lake the wind was blowing so hard it was hard to stand up straight. Her poor little face was being blown off!

What a fun series. I like #3 but #4 is the keeper.
