Is it better to leave the rear wheel in the left frame to show a sense drama with other bikes or best to leave it out and just show the "situation" at hand?

I find the rear wheel of the front bike distracting in this shot. If the shot wasn't quite so "head on" it might be less of an issue to have it there. I'd also try and get rid of the chap with the orange cap... or at least get rid of his cap.

The whole composition looks lopsided to me (should be more space to the left of the frame)... and the wheel is distracting, yes.

My post was slightly tounge-in-cheek... you can rarely frame a shot like this perfectly... The rider is about .02 seconds from a highside (notice his ass is out of the saddle and the front wheel is askew).
I tend to favor the wheel on the left even if I could PS it out... I think it adds to the drama. If I was going to print I would clone out the spectators. That's the great thing about art - someones left over lunch is anothers Picaso! Thanks for the input - Cheers |

That is an awesome capture from a motorcycling perspective. There will be pain soon.
It is unfortunate that they won't let you eliminate those people that tend to clutter up your back round. A little more space to the left of the unfortunate soul would be nice, of course that will put more of the leading bike in the frame. Very inconsiderate of these guys not planning their moments of drama for better photography
