Default Photobook Canada and Quick Follow Up

I posted some pics from my first wedding here : http://photography-on-the.net/forum/....php?t=1035592

This is just a quick follow up related to Photobook Canada. It all stems from this thread http://forums.thoughtsmedia.com/f258...oks-97676.html which had a lot of good info regarding photo book printing.

I opted for the PRO French Vanilla / 12x12 series of books and it arrived after about 7-10 days. I had to deliver it the next day so took some shots in the evening after work.

Although they request you use their s/w, I was more inclined to go with FotoFusion as it's something that I had invested time and money in and felt very comfortable using.

Default Re: Photobook Canada and Quick Follow Up

A couple more to showcase the stamping and my final set of deliverables. The album and (as a "thank-you" for trusting me to handle their wedding), a printed DVD inside a tin case with their names engraved on the outside.

I was lucky enough to be able to show the album to some work colleagues in the day between delivery (to me) and delivery (to them) and it went down very well. I may have picked up a "please produce a photo book from my negatives" kinda deal - which I'd be happy to do if it helps keep some momentum in my business.

I'm trying to secure any kind of second-shooter gig around the GTA. As someone on the other thread mentioned - I need to network a lot more so I've joined a couple of organizations and I'm hoping to join the PPOC as soon as funds allow.

All comments totally welcome.
